5th-floor walkup overlooking the NY Harbor

This was a challenging space. The owner had used it as an office, and it was cluttered with vibrant colors and heavy furniture. The bedroom was dominated by a bed that left no room to walk.

To transform the space, I relocated all of the artwork to an entryway gallery wall, creating a more open and inviting atmosphere. The breathtaking harbor view was the key selling point, so I carefully edited the design, introducing neutral tones to highlight the scenery—ensuring that the stunning view would outweigh any hesitation about the walkup.
